    Cultural Intelligence is the ability to function and work effectively across culturally diverse situations in our globalised world. This workshop is designed to introduce workshop participants to cultural intelligence, understand why it is important, learn about the four capabilities CQ , share how a broad range of companies today are using CQ and develop an individual action plan to enhance CQ . We will do this through best and worst practice examples, group discussions and reflection, videos and presentation slides for the key concepts of CQ .


    This workshop could also be supplemented with a pre-workshop individual CQ test and report. As certified CQ trainers we can organise these online tests in advance through the Cultural Intelligence Centre (US).

    The ability to facilitate discussions, meetings and workshops is a key skill to both empowering people and unleashing innovation. The ability to facilitate well also encourages participation, engagement and the incorporation of diverse views during any innovation and change effort. This workshop therefore focuses on understanding what facilitation is and is not, how to effectively facilitate, learn how to use energisers and icebreakers and how to facilitate the prioritisation of a wide range of ideas. This workshop will also use a group activity to demonstrate in real time some of the key skills to effectively facilitate workshops and ideation sessions.

    Developing your Emotional Intelligence (EQ )

    Synopsis

    The World Economic Forum’s 2018 report on the ‘Future of Jobs’ identified EQ as a key skill required for the future world of work in 2022 (refer image below). Our proposed EQ at work workshops would focus on developing an understanding of EQ , how it applies in the workplace, share practical strategies to enhance your own EQ for work, and provide the opportunity for self reflection and planning. We propose that we introduce each of the 4 EQ skills and each of the 12 EQcompetencies in detail, including real business examples and provide the opportunity to practice your own EQ skills and develop your own EQ action plan.

    Synopsis

    It is estimated that between 16% and 50% of people are Introverts (PsychologyToday 2012) so in Singapore alone this means that there are potentially between 896,000 and 2,800,000 Singaporeans and residents that are Introverts. This workshop is designed to help both Introverts and Extroverts understand each other and for Introverts to understand and embrace their Introversion.

     

    Our workshop agenda is designed for the workshop participants to develop an understanding of different personality types, understand and embrace introversion and introduce tools and ways of working with Introverts and Extroverts, including facilitation techniques. This workshop is designed to be enlightening for Introverts and thought provoking for Extroverts as we share personal stories and examples of Introversion.

     

    Objectives

    • Build a deeper understanding of introversion, extroversion and ambiversion
    • Encourage Introverted personalities to understand and embrace their
    introversion

    ‘The Quiet Warrior’  - Speak with Confidence and Assertiveness

    Public Speaking can be immensely intimidating and stressful, especially for Introverts. Too often, emotions and fear come in the way. Can we change that? Introverts have the power to be ‘warriors’; just as vocal, compelling, confident and assertive, as anyone else, given the right motivation, opportunity and platform.

    Synopsis

    Having the ability to present publicly and follow a storyline is key to influencing and engaging audiences and senior management with ideas for innovation. During this workshop we will work with you on how to understand your audience’s needs when presenting, how to create a story arc and effectively pitch your ideas, learn how to refine your presentations, including
    which words to eliminate and how to project confidence when presenting. This workshop will also provide time for the participants to draft their own story arc and storyboard a presentation.

    Design Thinking is being used by many organisations and institutions to kickstart and drive their innovation agendas. This workshop would develop your knowledge of Design thinking, what it is, and how it is applied.
